Very cool! I love that you can hold some of the coolest insects, and the Butterfly Pavilion is soooo magical! I'm sure I only saw a third of the butterflies there, they're hiding everywhere. Some really stunning pictures too.

The butterfly pavilion is very nicely designed and features many beautiful butterflies fluttering all over the place - they were landing on us within seconds of our arrival. It is very hot and humid in the pavilion, but the staff prepared us for that by suggesting that we visit it before and/or after visiting the rest of the (air conditioned) exhibits - this turned out to be excellent advice.

First time in visiting in a decade, loved it just as much as an adult as I did as a child. Knowledge staff that provide a great experience, even got to hold some of the little critters. 10/10 would recommend to anyone traveling in the area, very affordable

The bug exhibits upstairs are well laid out with lots of interesting information about all the types of bugs on display. We were even lucky enough to see a staff member feeding crickets to many of the critters.

Price is a little high, not convinced it's entirely worth it, but I'm sure it costs a lot to keep this place running so it's probably fair.

If u r in love with insects, u cant ignore this facility on the side of the main road. Nice collection of insects. Live and dead. Butterfly garden is well maintained. Friendly staff. Look for the chief entomologist there. Guy is a super interpreter. Gift shop is kind a expensive but worth the price.

We had extra time in Deer Lake and are so, so glad we stopped by this place. The staff is the best part, they're all super friendly and kind! The displays are awesome and you even get to touch/hold some insects. Personal favorite was the butterfly garden :)
